Dylan Turns One!

Can't believe this sweet girl is ONE! It has been such a trying year for all of us! She definitely keeps me on my toes! She is weighing in at 21 lbs 12 oz and is 29.5 inches long; Size 4 diapers; 12 month clothes. She has almost cut all of her bottles out except for the one in the middle of the night. She is a pretty picky eater and only likes eggs, bananas, yogurt (loves yogurt), mac n cheese, anything pasta, goldfish crackers, graham crackers, teddy grahams, and pureed foods. She is not crazy about drinking things but will only drink from a straw. Still not walking but wanting to so bad…she refuses to let anyone try to help her. She crawls so fast!! She chases me all over the house wanting me to pick her up. She is definitely going through some sort of separation anxiety and isn't crazy about me even leaving the room! She still just has two teeth but I feel like there are more getting close. She has stopped talking and only says mama and bye bye and boop and mup…no clue what those mean but she says them about everything. She just wants to point at everything and you tell her what its called but she has no desire to say it. She is doing pretty good with going potty but we haven't really pressed the issue yet. She thinks it is fun!
Her birthday party was so much fun! We had a ladybug themed party at Grammy and Grumpy's and just had family there. To imagine she got so many gifts and didn't already have any of them…. She hated the cake…she got it on her hands and she couldn't figure out how to get it off so she had a little meltdown! She loved opening her gifts and the Happy Birthday Song and she loved all the attention, of course.

Dylan's First Christmas!

This Christmas was the best that I can even imagine!! Dylan actually loved opening gifts and she wanted to play with each toy before moving on to the next one. We made Christmas cookies for Santa, opened stockings with Christmas PJ's and other goodies in them, we go to to get up bright and early to see what Santa had brought and then we had pancakes and enjoyed the day!!

Merry Christmas from Dylan!

11 Months Old!

SO many things that happened this month…like Dylan's first Christmas! It was so much fun!
20 lbs 4 oz; size 4 diapers; 9-12 month clothes. She is still pulling up on everything! She is trying to crawl and trying to walk. She loves running in her walker and trying to break mommy's ankles.
She loves popsicles, drinking from a straw, opening presents, chocolate, and chicken spaghetti.
She hates hair bows, hats, brushing or combing her hair, socks, sleeping and cutting her fingernails!
Noteworthy dates: Pulling to stand 12/2/13; crawling 12/11/13; sitting up on her own (finally) 12/16/13; pee pee in the potty 12/24/13. She also had her first real sickness and we had to go to the doc on Christmas eve…she had croup and got a steroid shot and was feeling so much better come Christmas morning. She also go to to see her first snow!

10 Months old…catch up!!

Uh…what day is it?? I really have no idea anymore…this kiddo keeps me so BUSY! She is away at the grandparents for the weekend so thought I would try to catch up a little!
Do I even remember…
Weighing in at 19lbs 9 oz; size 4 diapers; 9 month clothes
She got her first tooth on 11/13/13
She is pulling up on things now and she got to celebrate her first Thanksgiving (but mommy forgot to take pictures of that)
We had family pictures taken by a friend of ours for our Christmas card and that was interesting. We got to go to the lighting of the square and Mimi joined us. It was SO cold we didn't even stay for the parade or to see Santa! Here are a few pictures of our little cutie!
