Sweet Baby Kicks!

All is going well with baby B #2. We have finally decided on a name.. Andrew (Drew) but still no middle name. I feel like he is going to be a very big baby. He is giving me fits for sure and making me more miserable by the day. It is hard to stand for very long and I have had a lot of weakness and low blood pressure so this past week I had to have a heart monitor to make sure everything is ok.

All worked out with the results. Which of course I felt fine the day of the test! I haven't gained hardly any weight at all in the last few weeks because eating makes me feel just miserable. So I'm definitely behind on everything. I have 5 weeks to go and no sign of the nursery being completed! Finally had maternity pictures and I can't wait to see how they turned out! But he is definitely doing well. His heart rate is good and he kicks all the time. I'm not sure if he ever sleeps. That should be fun! Here are a few pictures...

5 weeks left to go!

Dylan turns 3!

Wow! Can't believe this little girl is 3... Possibly why I have waited so long to update! Ha.

We had her party at Imagine and invited friends from school. She had so much fun and definitely knew the party was for her!! She is still in this "NO PICTURE" stage so they aren't great...

She got lots of cute gifts and had plenty of icing from her "pancakes"! She crashed hard when we left!

We tried to make her actual birthday super special too! Daddy bought a giant, like bigger than me, teddy bear he was going to give her for Valentine's Day but it was so big he didn't really have anywhere to hide it so he decided to give it to her for her birthday! I blew up lots of balloons and we surprised her that morning with a balloon party!

The bear carried chocolate milk with him!

Daddy also got donuts and we had a donut birthday celebration!

And then we had a mommy/daughter date to the movies! She stood up the whole time. Ha. Luckily we were basically the only ones there.

A great celebration overall!
This little 3 year old can definitely be sweet as sugar or bitter as vinegar but never in between and sometimes a little of both. She loves spaghetti, French toast, her blanket, her baby, the iPad, Mickey Mouse, Dora, hugs from momma, irritating daddy from lack of hugs, naps, chocolate milk, coloring, drawing circles, dinosaurs, Pirates, princesses and mermaids. She can be rough and tumble and sweet and pretty at the same time.
And we wouldn't trade her for the world!!

Little Boy Blue

Behind a bit on this post but this child has sucked the life out of me and we have been hit with the sickness for over a month in this house. So in case you missed it...

And we could t be more excited! Dylan celebrated with some party favors.

She isn't totally sure if she is excited but we are working on it. We went and bought him his first gift!

Dylan has decided it was hers so I had to hide it. But he is a strong, healthy boy and even though he is kicking my butt right now, we can't wait to meet him in a few short months. If only he had a name...

Christmas time!

So busy during Christmas and we have been sick ever since! But some little cutie I know had a great Christmas! We had Christmas a little early with the Brooks fam and she played her little heart out!

It was fun seeing Crystal and Dave before they move to their next locale in California!
Santa was definitely good to her! We did Christmas Eve service at church with Grammy and Grumpy, made cookies, attempted a gingerbread house which was a major fail, opened stockings and prepared for Santa!

We stayed up all night putting her kitchen together which was a huge hit come morning!

And she also had a few surprises...

Such a fun day!
We also got to spend some time with the Jacobsen crew that we rarely get to see. Lots of good food, good people, and football!

Overall a great holiday and next year there will be two...

Blessings

It's Christmas Eve so I thought I would share a few moments of our blessings since I haven't updated in a minute.
Went earlier in the month to check out baby's heartbeat. Usually a simple checkup, in and out, no problems. Well this time was different... They couldn't find the heart beat! So I had to go into a smal waiting room and wait for the next ultrasound machine to come open. It was seriously the longest wait of my life. Dylan was with me and she kept talking and asking questions and I couldn't focus on anything she was doing or saying. The time finally came and the baby was just fine... Kicking a flipping like crazy. Heart beat was good too. So at least we got a picture and we go back on January 4 for the full scan.

20 weeks tomorrow... Halfway there!

Jolly Old St Nick...

This past week we made it to the mall to see that guy called Santa! Dylan was all dressed up and ready. She talked about it all the way there. For some reason, Santa wasn't there and was in an unscheduled break so we waited for 30 minutes for him to return. And then the freak out happened... She just wanted daddy to protect her from that scary old man. So I forced her to take her picture and I attempted to make her laugh and look at the camera...

Maybe next year...

Christmas Train!

I decided Dylan might be old enough to try out the Christmas train this year. She had a fun time! Grammy, grumpy, and Mimi came to visit and ride with us.

We got to meet Santa which she wasn't so sure about.

But she still had a pretty fun time and liked riding the "choo choo"
